I only started looking at the beginning of this year, I started because I wanted to share my writing with the world. Okay maybe not with the world, maybe that is a bit of an exaggeration, but I did want to share my work with fellow bloggers. Maybe get some feedback from other writers, possibly get some advice or inspiration from people who comment. But I think everybody likes the idea that one day their work may one day go viral, well maybe not everyone, maybe not the people who use their blog as a running commentary into their daily lives for instance.

But there are obviously going to be some pros and cons to going viral, especially in this day and age. For example if you decided to write something that may not be particularly politically correct in some people’s eyes, well then this could be a recipe for disaster if let loose virally. But if you wrote a really good piece of writing and then found out that it had gone viral then this could be the making of you, after all some famous people started their careers from simple YouTube videos which had gone viral. But sadly I am not aware of any famous writers who have made their fame and fortune through a simple blog which has gone viral (if I am wrong about this please left my spirits and correct me).

I reckon we could change this fate though, if we pulled together as a collective of addictive bloggers we could make something go viral. Do other people agree? I would love to hear your thoughts on this. Let us rain on You Tube’s parade and make people aware of how we bloggers can make things happen and even take over the world MWAH-HA-HA-HAAA.
