Hi everyone, I have recently been looking for some kind of writing plan to get my creative juices going, and I came across this blog post
The 12-Day Plan Writing plan
Write 10 potential titles. For novels that you’d like to write about.
Create a new character. His personality traits should be loaned from someone you love. However, his physical characteristics should be of someone you don’t care for at all.
Write a setting taken from the most beautiful place you’ve ever seen or visited.
Contact an agent, letting him know wonderful you are.
Write a 20-line poem about a memorable moment in your life.
Choose a book on your bookshelf and pick 2 chapters at random. Take the 1st line of one chapter and the last line of the other. Then write a short story, about 1000 words, using those as bookends to your story.
Write a letter to yourself! Yes, you read right! Let yourself know about what you need to improve in the next six months.
Write again a fairy tail from scratch using the bad guy’s point of vew
Turn on your TV. Write down the first sentence that you hear. Close your TV and start writing a story based on it.
Visit a public place and spend some time there. Eavesdrop on a conversation and turn it into a short love story (no matter how much you have to twist what they say).
It is time to write the acknowledgments page that you will place in your first, or next, published book. Do not forget to thank all the people who have helped you along the way.
Collect everything you’ve penned over the previous 11 days. Choose your favorite one. Edit it, polish it and either attempt to get it published or posted on the Web to share it with the world. Feel proud of yourself and your work.
So for the next three weeks I shall be taking on these challenges from Mondays to Fridays and posting what I have done on my blog.
